SatSure iNetra is equipped to support Aeronautical Data Management through a host of modular platforms which optimize and enhance the user data handling process. The AMDB module provides a comprehensive spatially referenced database of the major features of the aerodrome with the relevant attributes. iNetra AMDB complies with the RTCA Standards DO-272 set for industry requirements of aerodrome mapping databases for aeronautical uses.
AMDB are used in a wide variety of applications but mostly in on-board applications such as Electronic Flight Bags (EFBs). These applications are intended primarily to improve the user situational awareness and/or to supplement surface navigation, thereby increasing safety margins and operational efficiency.
Multiple user groups, such as pilots, controllers, aerodrome managers, aerodrome emergency/security personnel etc, can benefit from using AMDBs. a) position and route awareness including moving maps with own ship position, surface guidance and navigation (e.g. A-SMGCS) b) traffic awareness including surveillance and runway incursion detection and alerting c) facilitation of aerodrome-related aeronautical information, including NOTAM d) resource and aerodrome facility management and e) aeronautical chart production
Spatial Datasets: Complete spatial dataset of Runways, Taxiways, Aprons, Buildings and other relevant features as per ICAO Document 9881 which state the Guidelines for Electronic Terrain., Obstacle and Aerodrome Mapping Information. This dataset also contains the specific attributes of the feature such as latitude and longitude of the parking bays, Taxiway name etc. This allows the dataset to be used in conjunction for AOCC applications and for visualization of Digital NOTAMs if necessary.
Exportable in geojson: Geojson is an open standard format designed for representing simple geographical features, along with their non-spatial attributes. It is based on the JSON format. As the AMDB contains point, line and polygon features, the export of these datasets was easier possible with geojson data. They can be loaded on geojson rendering websites that can be accessed using any regular web browser. A sample site that can load such data is provided below:
Digital Data Management: The AMDB module also provides digital data management functions where an admin user can create, modify or delete features of the selected airport. This allows for the ease of maintaining the data on the cloud server without having to save it locally or in hardcopies. All features such as points, lines or polygons can be worked with using these functions.
Integrated Checks: iNetra exports provide an integrated Cyclic Redundancy Checks while exporting data from the platform. A CRC wrapped code is provided in the exported file name suffix which ensures security against data changes.

AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before it ends, access to these entitlements will expire.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
This listing uses a single pricing dimension billed under a contract. You pay based on Units, and the imagery refresh interval is set by the terms of your contract. There are no separate tiers or instance sizes to choose from. Pricing scales with the Units you agree to under your contract. The product provides aerodrome mapping datasets covering features like runways, taxiways, and aprons. Because refresh frequency is contract-defined, you align the update cadence to your operational needs during the agreement.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What counts as a Unit for billing on this listing?
A Unit represents your contracted allocation of the aerodrome mapping database. The exact scope, including coverage and imagery refresh interval, is set by your contract terms. You agree on the number of Units at signing, and pricing scales with that committed quantity.
How often is the aerodrome mapping imagery updated?
The imagery refresh interval is defined by your contract, not a fixed schedule. Updates draw on satellite-based monitoring, reducing reliance on manual surveys. You set the update cadence to match your operational needs during the agreement.
What aerodrome features does the database cover?
The dataset covers runways, taxiways, aprons, helipads, and hotspots. It is built to align with RTCA DO-272 standards for aerodrome mapping. This supports operational departments needing spatially accurate airport layout data.
