Overview
Cost savings disappear in the gap between finding them and shipping them. Someone spots idle RDS or an oversized EC2 fleet, files a ticket, and it rots. Maxwell closes the gap. Maxwell pulls recommendations from your AWS cost APIs, historical spend, and live config, then opens a Jira ticket and a linked PR with the fix. Engineers approve or reject in their normal workflow. Low risk changes can even be auto-approved. Each recommendation follows a tracked lifecycle: discovered, validated, proposed, accepted or rejected, and documented, with estimated savings measured against realized.
