The Terraform Jumpstart is aimed at customers who need to deploy HashiCorp Terraform Enterprise rapidly. GlobalLogic will work with the customer to deploy a Terraform Enterprise system and integrate it within the customer environment. The expected outcome is that the Customer will have a working implementation of Terraform Enterprise, some modules will be deployed and the Customer will be familiar with the administration of Terraform and able to continue with automation efforts within their environment.
Overview
This Jumpstart engagement is designed to quickly and effectively maximise and accelerate adoption of Terraform Enterprise. GlobalLogic will work with your teams to establish a Terraform Enterprise system which can be used to automate your environment. You will be prepared to adopt this technology and to continue the use of Terraform Enterprise once our consultants have completed the engagement.
Work Package 1 – Remote discovery and planning GlobalLogic will work with the customer remotely to plan the project, reviewing aspects such as the expected outcomes for the engagement, planning for the Terraform Enterprise workshop and the creation of an outline plan.
Work Package 2 – Terraform Enterprise Workshop GlobalLogic will conduct a workshop to determine the desired use of Terraform Enterprise, and to review the technical requirements for the successful deployment of the software in Customer environment. Security and organisational parameters will be defined and recorded for the subsequent installation of Terraform Enterprise.
Work Package 3 – installation of Terraform Enterprise GlobalLogic will conduct the installation of Terraform Enterprise using the parameters gathered in Work Package 2.
Work Package 4 – Configuration of Terraform Enterprise GlobalLogic will configure Terraform Enterprise using the input from Work Package 2. The configuration will be documented and tested to ensure that the system is configured as designed.
Work Package 5 – Creation of Terraform Enterprise modules GlobalLogic will assist Customer to create or modify Terraform modules in a pair programming model. Modules will be deployed and tested with Customer.
Work Package 6 – Wrap up and Documentation GlobalLogic will conclude the engagement with a final meeting to recap activities and to answer final questions from Customer. Full documentation will be provided within 10 days.
