The rankings, known as IMDb Meters and GEOmeters, are derived from the interactions of the IMDb audience of over 250 million monthly visitors worldwide. As this audience is composed of passionate fans and entertainment industry professionals, IMDb Meters offer a unique, real-time reflection of the most popular, relevant, and trending content on IMDb.
The product includes three datasets:
Local TITLEmeter: The top 1,000 movies and TV shows per region
Local TVmeter: The top 1,000 TV shows per region
Local MOVIEmeter: The top 1,000 movies per region
Each dataset includes the IMDb GEOmeter rank (refreshed weekly), the unique title ID, the rank date, and the country/region code. By joining the unique title ID with the IMDb Essential Metadata or IMDb and Box Office Mojo package, licensees can leverage IMDb GEOmeters to power a variety of advanced use cases, including:
Surfacing the most valuable content by region through personalized recommendations, comprehensive search, and innovative discovery features - driving increased engagement, retention, and revenue growth
Measuring and modeling title performance by region using the unique insights extracted from IMDb Meters
Ensuring quality control and relevance for AI-generated content by testing and prompting with the most popular titles on IMDb and associated metadata by region
Building brand trust by leveraging insights from IMDb, the world's most authoritative source for information on movies, TV shows, and celebrities
This product is sold exclusively as an add-on to one of the IMDb core data packages (Essential Metadata or IMDb and Box Office Mojo). The final licensing fee is subject to variables including the specific use case and length of term.

This listing uses a single contract dimension: Product Access measured in Units. You subscribe to gain access to the dataset for your contract term. There are no size tiers or usage add-ons to choose from. The dataset provides weekly rankings of the top 1,000 most popular titles on IMDb, broken out by region and country. Pricing does not vary by data volume or query count. You commit to one flat access option under the contract, and that grant covers use of the ranked title data for your subscription period.
