AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor, and additional usage. You pay upfront or in installments according to your contract terms with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. Usage-based pricing is in effect for overages or additional usage not covered in the contract. These charges are applied on top of the contract price. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before the contract end date, access to your entitlements will expire.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
You buy Transaction Monitoring through a contract built on usage units. The Base Usage dimension sets your minimum committed volume, and the Base Pricing dimension covers the billing for that commitment. If your usage goes beyond the committed amount, the Incremental Usage dimension measures the extra units, and the Incremental Pricing dimension bills for that additional volume. In short, you pay a fixed amount for your baseline commitment, then pay more only as your usage grows past it. This structure lets your cost scale with actual transaction monitoring activity.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What does one usage unit represent for Transaction Monitoring billing?
A unit reflects your transaction monitoring activity, such as the volume of financial transactions processed and screened by the platform. The product monitors transaction data and customer profiles to detect suspicious patterns. Your committed contract sets a baseline number of these units, and activity beyond that count is measured as incremental usage.
What happens to my cost if my usage stays under the committed baseline?
You pay the Base Pricing amount for your Base Usage commitment regardless of whether you use it fully. Falling below the committed volume does not lower that minimum charge. Incremental Pricing only applies once your activity passes the committed baseline, so unused capacity within your commitment does not reduce the base cost.
How do the base and incremental dimensions combine on my invoice?
The Base Usage and Base Pricing dimensions set your fixed minimum charge. The Incremental Usage dimension counts units beyond that commitment, and Incremental Pricing bills for them. Both parts add together on one invoice. The base charge stays constant, while the incremental portion grows only as your monitoring activity increases.
