1. Kick-off & scope We meet your business and IT leads to define target document types (e.g., invoices, claim forms, material safety data sheets), success metrics and security constraints.

2. Sample ingestion & ground truth You provide redacted or synthetic examples. We set up secure S3 buckets, label a ground-truth subset and profile noise levels (skew, handwriting, stamps).

3. Prototype build Chaos Gears engineers chain:

• Amazon Textract for baseline OCR and tables processing
• Bedrock models (Claude 4, Claude 3.7, Amazon Nova) with prompts for classification and fuzzy field extraction
• Optional handwriting & image enhancement with Amazon Rekognition or custom SageMaker models.
• Lightweight orchestration in AWS Step Functions + API Gateway for easy integration

4. Evaluation & tuning We auto-run 200–500 sample docs through the pipeline, scoring precision/recall per field, measuring cost per page and stress-testing concurrency.

5. Read-out & next steps You receive:

• Business case and report on how the technology works
• Effort estimate and SoW for a full production rollout - only if you want it.
