Dimensions summary
You pay by the hour based on the EC2 instance type you pick to run this software. Each dimension maps to a different instance size, letting you match compute power to your workload. The options include general-purpose types (m4.large, m5.large, m5a.large, m6a.large, m7a.medium, t3.medium, t3a.medium) and compute-optimized types (c5.large, c5a.large, c6a.large). Larger or newer instance families generally cost more per hour. You can start or stop instances anytime, so you pay only for the hours you run. The vendor recommends the t3.medium instance type for deployment.

Each hourly dimension maps to one EC2 instance running the Supabase software. The instance type sets your compute power. General-purpose types like t3.medium balance CPU and memory. Compute-optimized types like c5.large give more CPU per core. The vendor recommends t3.medium for standard deployment.
Software charges accrue only while the instance runs. When you stop it from the EC2 console, hourly software billing pauses. You can restart anytime. Note that AWS may still charge for attached storage volumes while the instance is stopped, since those resources remain provisioned.
Yes. You deploy through a CloudFormation stack where you pick the InstanceType. To move to another type, back up your server data, remove the current stack, then launch again with your chosen instance type. Your hourly rate then follows the new dimension you select.

Supabase is an open source backend as a service platform that provides developers with a suite of tools to build secure, scalable web and mobile applications. It offers functionality similar to Firebase, including real-time PostgreSQL, user authentication, auto-generated APIs, file storage, and edge functions all built using enterprise-grade, open source technologies.
CloudFormation Template (CFT)
AWS CloudFormation templates are JSON or YAML-formatted text files that simplify provisioning and management on AWS. The templates describe the service or application architecture you want to deploy, and AWS CloudFormation uses those templates to provision and configure the required services (such as Amazon EC2 instances or Amazon RDS DB instances). The deployed application and associated resources are called a "stack."

Usage instructions
Click the "View purchase options" button. After subscribing, you will need to accept the terms and conditions. Click on "Accept Terms" to proceed. Please wait for a few minutes while the processing takes place. Once it's completed, click on "Continue to Configuration".
IAM Role is set up and configured with the necessary permissions to assume the role for the Supabase service. The IAM Policy is created and responsible for access Route53 and create Letsencrypt SSL certificates. After the stack is created, please point DNS. Then access the Supabase through https://<your domain name>
If you want to ssh into the server please use the port 22 and username 'ubuntu'. Admin email is neded for SSL generation.
