ORION prevents data loss by analyzing data in motion with context-aware, proprietary AI agents, significantly reducing operational overhead and false positives while drastically increasing the number of real incidents detected and prevented.
ORION is an autonomous, context-aware data loss prevention platform that uses proprietary AI agents to analyze data in motion in real time. Its agents understand the full context behind every data trace - including classification, lineage, identity, environment, and external relations - to detect and prevent exfiltration with high accuracy. The platform features AI-powered detections, AI-driven data classification, and full data lineage tracking within a unified DLP environment. It supports policy creation without relying on traditional DLP policy frameworks, reducing operational overhead and false positives while increasing real incidents detected. ORION integrates with Google Drive, SharePoint, OneDrive, GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Salesforce, AWS, Azure, and GCP. It is designed for security teams and CISOs in highly regulated industries such as healthcare and finance.
Traditional DLP solutions rely on guesswork or security professionals manually adjusting policies and waiting for results. Orion continuously and proactively monitors and analyzes data movement, holding a complete picture of data flows at all times and automatically identifying and preventing risks before they escalate. Key capabilities include full visibility into data flows across both authorized and unauthorized devices, proactive and automated policy creation based on actual data behavior, and AI-powered detections that enable immediate action.

AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before it ends, access to these entitlements will expire.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
This listing uses a single fixed-price contract. You pay one set price for the units included, rather than being billed by usage or across separate tiers. The price covers the data loss prevention platform, which monitors data movement across endpoints, browsers, SaaS apps, email, and AI tools under one plan. There are no size-based or add-on dimensions to select. If you need a custom plan or an enterprise arrangement, you contact the vendor directly at the email address listed to arrange separate pricing.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What counts as a billable unit under the fixed pricing?
The listing bills on fixed pricing units rather than usage. The marketplace listing does not spell out exactly what each unit maps to, such as endpoints or users. To confirm how units are counted for your deployment, contact the vendor at sales@orionsec.io before purchase.
What does the fixed price cover across my environment?
The price covers one unified platform that monitors data movement across endpoints, browsers, SaaS apps, email, and AI tools. Coverage applies from day one with no separate discovery or classification stage. There are no size-based tiers or add-on dimensions to select on this listing.
If my usage or coverage needs grow, does my cost change automatically?
No. This is a fixed-price contract, so the set price does not scale automatically with usage. If you need more coverage, a custom plan, or an enterprise arrangement, you contact the vendor at sales@orionsec.io to arrange separate pricing.

Data protection has become automated and AI now simplifies managing sensitive information

What is our primary use case?
ORION Security is used for data leak prevention.
How has it helped my organization?
ORION Security helps my team understand data in motion by deploying a sensor, an agent for Windows and Mac computers. With this agent, we can see every data movement from computers or any asset that has an agent installed. We also install browser extensions, so we can see everything with ORION Security. We didn't have this option before using ORION Security.
ORION Security helps me manage sensitive data when it moves across endpoints, browsers, SaaS, email, cloud tools, and AI. We control almost everything and see almost everything, including emails, the browser, the AI agent, external storage, or network shares.
What is most valuable?
The best features of ORION Security are its fast use, easy deployment, and very automated solutions. It is a managed solution where the team has the ability to add rules and features. I don't need to manage this or deal with all of this pain. ORION Security has a very good customer success team, and we are working almost every week and every month with meetings to solve my problems.
ORION Security's approach differs from traditional rule-based DLP solutions because it uses AI to match rules that are not based on regex patterns. It is a very innovative solution that is fast and operates as a SaaS solution rather than an on-premises solution. We don't need a full team to manage this solution; it is just part of my job. I am doing many other things, and this is the appealing aspect of this product.
I have great thoughts on the AI aspect of ORION Security. We really appreciate the AI component in this solution. You can write what you want, and the team can create a rule for it, and it works perfectly.
What needs improvement?
By using ORION Security, we experience false positives, and we are working with the team every week to fine-tune the system. They listen to us for every feature request and everything we need. We work very closely to mitigate all false positives, but they still occur at approximately 10 to 20 percent.
In terms of areas for improvement, false positives continue to occur, and the data categorization and sensitivity label level of alerts could be improved. We receive some alerts marked as critical and high, but they are not critical or high for our organization. This aspect can improve, including the alert severity levels.
For how long have I used the solution?
I have been using ORION Security for approximately one year. We were one of the first customers.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
Regarding stability for ORION Security, I would rate it a ten. We did not experience any downtime.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
ORION Security has about five admin users, but the entire company using it is 500 people.
ORION Security is scalable for our needs, as we have five users using it for a company of 500. I would rate it as ten.
How are customer service and support?
I would rate ORION Security's technical support as nine out of ten.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
I am not aware of the pricing for ORION Security. I am not part of the pricing and contract process.
Which other solutions did I evaluate?
When I compare ORION Security with other vendors, we do have Wiz and Check Point, but they are not helping us with data leak prevention. ORION Security is the best of its kind in this area. There are more solutions, but we didn't try anything else.
What other advice do I have?
I am a customer of ORION Security.
ORION Security is deployed as a cloud solution and operates as a SaaS product.
Maintaining ORION Security is very easy. Most things are automated, but from time to time we need to check and verify that everything is functioning correctly.
My advice for someone considering ORION Security is to check if this solution fits your organization, as it allows for fast deployment. You need to determine if you need a sensor, an extension, or both, depending on your organization and its requirements. You should verify if that fits for your organization because there are other solutions that are bigger and more complex, but ORION Security is perfect for small organizations and also for mid-sized organizations. For larger organizations, they may need different solutions that fit enterprise levels. I would rate ORION Security an eight out of ten overall.

Prevents data leaks across our cloud environments

What is our primary use case?
Our primary use case is preventing data leaks across our cloud environments and ensuring sensitive information stays protected, without adding extra overhead for the team.
How has it helped my organization?
We were using CyberHaven, but it constantly required hands-on tuning and still missed the mark. With Orion, setup was fast, the insights are actually useful, and we are not drowning in false alerts. It is the first DLP that feels like it is working with us, not against us.
What is most valuable?
We rely on it to detect and prevent data exfiltration, monitor policy violations, and ensure compliance.
What needs improvement?
Granular alert customization would be helpful. While the current alert system is solid, more advanced tuning options per user or team would help reduce friction.
For how long have I used the solution?
I have been using the solution for 6 months.
Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
We previously used CyberHaven. We switched because it required too much manual tuning and did not scale well with our needs.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
This is a new company offering the best prices, and I believe you won't regret choosing them.
Which other solutions did I evaluate?
We looked at a few alternatives, including CyberHaven and some legacy DLP tools. Orion stood out for its simplicity and faster setup.
