Training: Container Essentials – ECS

In the Elastic Container Service (ECS) module of our “Container Essentials” course series, you will learn about the Amazon Elastic Container Service (ECS), a cloud service that enables you to efficiently and seamlessly orchestrate your container workloads. During the course of one training day, you will be offered a comprehensive overview of the service, from basic concepts, scaling and data storage to networking and monitoring. Thanks to numerous live demos and practical labs, you can gain real hand-on experience in the cloud.

In this course, you will learn to:

• Understand the basics of the Elastic Container Services (ECS)
• Understand and apply ECS concepts & components
• Control the scheduling and deployment of container workloads
• Understand and apply automatic scaling of workloads
• Know how workloads communicate inside and outside the cluster
• Know possible solutions for storing container data
• Be able to monitor ECS clusters and the workloads within them
• Know the limitations of ECS and be able to compare it with other orchestration tools

• No prior IT experience or cloud experience is required
