AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Pricing is based on actual usage, with charges varying according to how much you consume. Subscriptions have no end date and may be canceled any time. Alternatively, you can pay upfront for a contract, which typically covers your anticipated usage for the contract duration. Any usage beyond contract will incur additional usage-based costs.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
If you are an AWS Free Tier customer with a free plan, you are eligible to subscribe to this offer. You can use free credits to cover the cost of eligible AWS infrastructure. See AWS Free Tier for more details. If you created an AWS account before July 15th, 2025, and qualify for the Legacy AWS Free Tier, Amazon EC2 charges for Micro instances are free for up to 750 hours per month. See Legacy AWS Free Tier for more details.
You pay by the hour for a Django image bundled with vendor support. Each dimension maps to a specific AWS EC2 instance type, so your hourly rate depends on the instance size and family you launch. Smaller instances like t2.nano or t3.micro cost less per hour, while large or metal instances such as p5.48xlarge or u-24tb1.112xlarge cost more. Compute-optimized (c), memory-optimized (r, x), general-purpose (m, t), storage (i, d), and GPU or accelerator families (g, p, trn, inf) are all offered. You pick the instance matching your workload; billing scales with your runtime and chosen instance.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What does one hour of billing cover, and what do I actually get?
You get a Django image preinstalled on the AWS EC2 instance type named in your chosen dimension. Each dimension maps to one instance size and family. One billing hour equals one hour that instance runs. The image comes with the latest updates and vendor support included.
Am I charged when my instance is stopped or paused?
The hourly software charge meters running time only. When you stop an instance, the per-hour software fee stops accruing. Stopped instances may still incur underlying AWS storage fees for attached volumes, but those are separate AWS charges, not the software rate shown in the pricing table.
If I switch to a larger instance type, how does my cost change?
Each instance type is a separate dimension with its own hourly rate. Switching means launching under a different dimension, so your new hourly rate reflects that instance's size and family. The change is not automatic; you choose which dimension to run. You pay the rate for whichever instance is running.
