Overview
PSMA PET (Positron Emission Tomography) Scan: This imaging test uses a radioactive tracer that binds to PSMA. The scan can detect prostate cancer cells throughout the body, including small tumors that may have been missed by other imaging methods.
Datasets include: Confirmed Prostate cancer with pharmaceuticals 68Ga-PSMA11 or 18F-DCFPyL, or 18F-rhPSMA7.3. PSMA PET CT with 10% of cases with liver lesions, 10% of cases with lung lesions, 5% cases with adrenal gland metastases.
