AICA Data - UNSPSC Product Classification and Enrichment

     Info
    Deployed on AWS
Classify product data to UNSPSC and other taxonomies with confidence scores and reasoning on every row. Enrich missing attributes from manufacturer sources.

    Overview

AICA Data classifies and enriches product and item master data so procurement, finance, and data teams can work from a catalogue that is consistent and complete - rather than one that has grown by hand over years.

Poor product data is expensive in ways that are hard to see. Spend cannot be analysed across categories that do not agree. Duplicate items sit under different descriptions. Records arrive carrying a part number and little else, so nobody can filter, compare, or source against them. Migrations to a new ERP stall on records nobody can map. Doing this work by hand is slow, and it produces results that differ between the people doing it.

Classify Every Row to a Standard Taxonomy

AICA Data assigns every row a code from UNSPSC or another standard taxonomy. Each row comes back with a confidence score and the reasoning behind the classification, so the output can be reviewed and defended rather than taken on trust. Whether your catalogue has hundreds of rows or millions, classification runs at whatever scale you need.

Enrich Records With the Attributes You Specify

You name the attributes your catalogue needs - manufacturer, brand, pack size, material, or whatever your category requires - and AICA Data searches public manufacturer and supplier sources for each one. Every job reports completion per attribute, so you can see which fields came back and which the sources could not answer. Where source data is thin, AICA Data generates clean product descriptions to fill the gaps.

    Flexible Access: Browser or API

Upload a spreadsheet through the browser for one-off work, or call the API from a pipeline you already run. API access carries no additional charge, and usage bills under the product invoked. Both paths deliver the same classification and enrichment engine, so results are consistent whether you work interactively or automate at scale.

    Full-Service Option

For teams that prefer a hands-off approach, AICA Data offers a full-service option where analysts run the classification and enrichment work and release reviewed outputs. Credits are quoted and accepted before the work starts, so there are no surprises.

    Key Capabilities

    • Classifies items to UNSPSC and other standard taxonomies, with a confidence score on every row
    • Enriches records with the product attributes you specify, drawn from manufacturer and supplier sources
    • Reports completion per attribute so gaps stay visible rather than silent
    • Generates clean product descriptions where the source data is thin
    • Works through the browser for ad hoc projects and through the API for recurring pipelines
    • Full-service option available for analyst-reviewed, ready-to-use outputs

    Who It Is For

    • Procurement and category managers who need spend visibility across consistent, standardized categories
    • Data and MDM teams cleaning an item master before or after a system migration
    • ERP migration teams facing thousands of unmapped records that need classification before go-live
    • Marketplace operators onboarding supplier catalogues that arrive with part numbers and little else

Get Started With 20 Free Credits

Your first 20 credits are free - start classifying and enriching your catalogue data immediately. Self-service classification and enrichment consume credits per row processed, each at its own published rate. No separate contract, no minimum commitment. Volume pricing is available for larger workloads. Subscribe through AWS Marketplace and usage appears on the same AWS bill as everything else.

To see AICA Data in action on your own data, visit https://aws.aicadata.com  to upload a sample file and review classified, enriched results before committing to a larger project.

    Highlights

    • Classify at scale with built-in auditability. Upload a spreadsheet or call the API and receive standard taxonomy codes - including UNSPSC and eCl@ss - for your entire catalogue. Every row returns a confidence score and the reasoning behind its classification, so your team can focus review on low-confidence items instead of auditing the whole dataset. This reasoning trace lets procurement and MDM teams trust and defend the output in stakeholder reviews.
    • Enrich records with the exact attributes you need. Specify the fields your catalogue requires - such as manufacturer part number, material, dimensions, or any custom attribute - and AICA Data searches manufacturer and supplier sources to fill them in. Completion rates are reported per attribute, giving you clear visibility into remaining gaps so you can prioritize follow-up efforts where they matter most.
    • No commitment, no separate procurement. Start with 20 free credits and pay only for what you consume, billed directly through your existing AWS account. There is no minimum contract, no separate vendor onboarding, and no procurement cycle to navigate. Scale from a single test file to production workloads on the same billing relationship.

    Dimensions summary

You pay through a single usage dimension: credits. One credit equals one unit of AICA Data usage. You draw from one credit pool for classification, enrichment, and full service. This means the same credits cover different tasks, and you decide how to spend them. Because pricing is usage-based, cost scales with how many credits you consume. There are no separate tiers or fixed seats to choose here. You buy credits and draw them down as you process product records across the supported services.

    Top-of-mind questions for buyers

A credit maps to one unit of processing per product record. Self-service classification uses one credit per item. Full-service delivery uses three credits per item, since it adds project management, quality assurance, and expert review. So the same task costs more credits when experts handle it.
You draw from a single credit pool for all tasks. Self-service consumes one credit per item. Full-service consumes three credits per item because it includes expert supervision and validation. You can mix both from the same pool and decide per batch how records get processed.
Credit use scales with record volume and processing method. Classification and enrichment each consume credits per record. Full-service consumes more credits per record than self-service, since it adds managed review steps. Higher-volume jobs and expert-handled jobs draw down your pool faster.

    Vendor refund policy

You are billed only for credits already consumed, settled through your AWS bill. Nothing is paid in advance.

If you believe you were billed for work that failed or was not delivered, email us within 30 days of the invoice date with the job reference. Where we confirm the error we request a refund through AWS Marketplace, and AWS issues it to the account that was billed.

We do not refund credits consumed on work that was delivered.
