Load can be generated on our globally distributed AWS infrastructure, on premises using Docker, or by us automatically spinning up isolated on demand EC2 instances for each test using our AWS account or yours. Simulate as many virtual users as you can from the test runners without having to pay more. 1 m4.large can often generate 1000+ virtual users depending on the tool.
Real-time results include percentiles, success analytics, and trend analysis for every single metric. Want to know how many concurrent users your environment can handle? Define your performance requirements and we can automatically scale, detect and alert on the number of concurrent users that meet those performance requirements. Even track how that number changes across test runs like any other metric. Define your own success criteria and get alerted when a test fails to meet them.
Results can be shared and customized to provide different views for different stakeholders. We also integrate with leading monitoring tools like NewRelic and CI solutions to seamlessly integrate load testing and monitoring into your software development lifecycle.

This listing uses one usage-based dimension. You pay by the hour for test runner capacity, measured in t2.small test runner hours equivalent. There are no tiers or upfront commitments to choose from. Your cost scales directly with how much test-running time you consume. Larger or more resource-intensive test runners count as multiples of the base t2.small hour, so heavier workloads draw down more hours. You pay only for what you use, with no fixed monthly minimum on this pay-as-you-go option.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What counts as one t2.small test runner hour equivalent for billing?
One equivalent is the compute of a single t2.small runner running for one hour. Billing counts the time your test scenario runs on runners, not start-up or post-test processing. Scenario type multipliers apply: a browser virtual user consumes more equivalents than a network-level virtual user for the same duration.
Do resource boosts or heavier virtual users change how many hours I consume?
Yes. Each virtual user gets a set amount of compute based on the tool used. You can request a boost, such as 4x resources, and each such user then counts as 4 for billing. Lighter tests can allocate less, so one user may count as 0.5. This raises or lowers hours consumed.
Am I charged when no tests are running?
No. This pay-as-you-go dimension meters only the time your test scenario actively runs on test runners. Start-up, provisioning, and post-test processing time are not billed. When you run no tests, you consume no runner hours and accrue no software charges under this option.
