Highlights
Scalable - Rhapsody is a scalable interoperability engine that has been designed to help users get results quickly as well as grow with an organization. Rhapsody can be stood up and configured rapidly with the assistance of its drag and-drop capabilities. Rhapsody processes more than a billion messages per day, with individual installations processing tens of thousands of messages a day.
Accelerated Migration - Rhapsody has numerous tools and features to make migrating from a legacy integration engine easier. Rhapsody's Intelligent Mapper reduces the time and cost of migration by performing analysis of legacy engines and reverse engineering of rules, documentation and code generation. Intelligent mapping ensures data quality and cuts the time of traditional migration and conversion, reducing cost and risk while increasing continuity of performance.
Comprehensive Health Monitoring - At Rhapsody's core is an intelligent monitoring and maintenance capability to enable simple and proactive maintenance of your integration engine. Smart alerts and notifications give users advanced warning of potential issues, helping ensure the engine remains healthy. The REST API can be used by third-party applications to track engine health remotely, keeping you informed 24/7 of system status.
AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before it ends, access to these entitlements will expire.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
You buy Rhapsody as a Service through a single contract dimension sized as Small. This unit includes 1 Production License with up to 5 communication points. A communication point is a connection between your integration engine and another system. Pricing is set by this fixed package rather than by usage or hourly metering. Rhapsody hosts the cloud infrastructure while you manage your integration logic. Because only one unit is offered, there are no tiers or add-ons to compare. To scale beyond this configuration, you work with the vendor.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What counts as one communication point in this Small unit?
A communication point is a connection between the integration engine and another system, such as an EHR, lab, or API endpoint. The Small unit includes up to 5 of these connections. Each separate system you link to counts as one communication point toward that limit.
What does the Production License in this unit cover versus the infrastructure?
The Production License lets you run the integration engine in a live production environment. Rhapsody hosts and manages the underlying cloud infrastructure on AWS. You keep control of your integration logic and workflows, while the vendor handles the secure, scalable environment behind the scenes.
What happens if I need more than 5 communication points?
The Small unit is fixed at 1 Production License with up to 5 communication points. It has no automatic overage or tier upgrade. To connect more systems beyond this limit, you work directly with the vendor to scope a larger configuration.
