    Overview

Upstream Professional Services helps third-party logistics providers, manufacturers, distributors, retailers, and recommerce operators deploy and integrate Upstream within Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud environments. Part of Vendidit’s visual intelligence product suite, Upstream is built on the same identification technology as GlobalSKU and applies it to the receiving dock. Instead of treating returned, excess, and unidentified goods as a cost to be cleared, Upstream treats each item as recoverable value.

At intake, items are captured using hardware the facility already operates, including existing scanners, printers, and label makers, or a phone or tablet. Upstream identifies each item, connects it to the owner’s records in the warehouse management system through API integration, grades its condition, and applies the operator’s business rules to determine its disposition. Each item is then routed to its best recovery outcome, including resale across multiple marketplaces, refurbishment, liquidation, or return. Item-level dashboards track every unit from receipt through sale, while facilities without a warehouse management system can operate using Upstream’s built-in inventory functionality.

Upstream can be configured in three parts, each available independently. Identify provides item identification and product intelligence at intake. Route and Resell moves identified inventory to market, with Vendidit serving as the seller of record and sharing the proceeds. Fulfill integrates Upstream into a 3PL’s existing recommerce operation, with implementation and software access scoped to the facility. Professional services may include AWS deployment planning, API integration, workflow configuration, data mapping, testing, onboarding, and implementation support. Each engagement supports the deployment, integration, and operation of Upstream on AWS, with the exact scope and deliverables established through an AWS Marketplace private offer.
