AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor, and additional usage. You pay upfront or in installments according to your contract terms with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. Usage-based pricing is in effect for overages or additional usage not covered in the contract. These charges are applied on top of the contract price. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before the contract end date, access to your entitlements will expire.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
You buy this as a contract with three plan tiers plus a usage overage option. Starter covers standard-definition video recording, storing, and playing. Pro adds high-definition support and more features. Enterprise bundles everything in Starter and Pro with added features and higher usage allowances. Each plan comes with a set amount of usage, measured in units. If you exceed your chosen plan's included usage, the separate overage dimension bills the extra units. Pricing scales as you move from Starter to Pro to Enterprise, and again through overage when your activity passes the plan limit.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What counts as one unit for billing across these plans?
Units track media activity measured mostly per minute. Recording, uploading, playback, downloading, and transcoding each meter per minute. Storage and hosting meter per minute per month. Image capture meters per image. Your plan includes a set number of these units, and activity draws down that allowance.
What happens if my usage exceeds the units included in my chosen plan?
The separate overage dimension bills any activity beyond your plan's included units. It charges only the extra units you use, at the per-unit overage rate. Your base plan fee stays the same, and the overage adds to it on the same invoice.
What distinguishes the Starter, Pro, and Enterprise plans beyond usage amounts?
Starter covers standard-definition video recording, storing, and playing. Pro adds high-definition support for recording, playback, and hosting. Enterprise bundles everything in Starter and Pro plus added features and higher usage allowances. All three share the same recording, playback, hosting, and dashboard tools.
