Arpio is the most comprehensive disaster recovery solution for AWS. We make it easy to set up, manage, and test disaster readiness for your entire AWS environment, so you can recover critical applications quickly in the event of unexpected downtime.
Arpio supports backup and recovery for more than 105 resources across an ever growing list of AWS services. We recognize that your AWS workloads are more than servers and databases, so we protect your storage, compute, network, security, monitoring, and everything else necessary to recover your entire environment.
Arpio is a pilot-light disaster recovery solution. Our software orchestrates the native capabilities and best practices of AWS to continuously back up your entire environment, as well as maintain key infrastructure and backups in an alternate recovery account and region of your choice. In the event of unexpected downtime or disruption, Arpio can recover your complete environment to your alternate account and region in minutes, with just the click of a button.
Because Arpio intrinsically understands the details of AWS workloads, it's also easy to use. You can use Arpio to set up complete backup and recovery in less than an hour, test recovery with the click of a button, and failover within minutes.
The Arpio Enterprise edition is designed to support the scale and complexity of large enterprises and hybrid environments, and builds on the functionality of the Premium edition to add: support for the recovery of shared resources and dependencies across multiple AWS accounts, replication and recovery for Transit Gateways, unique ransomware recovery capabilities, and more. The Enterprise edition also provides support for environments with up to 100 core AWS resources.

A "core resources" is the billing dimension for Arpio. We bill for the subset of protected AWS resources that roughly look like a "server." The full list of core resources is available at https://arpio.io/pricing
This offering uses a single billing dimension: the core resource. A core resource is a server-like component that Arpio protects in your disaster recovery environment. These include virtual machines, databases, and file systems. Arpio counts only these resource types, not every protected resource. You buy a quantity of core resources, and your price scales with that count. Arpio measures your usage by analyzing the core resources protected across your applications. Other resource types, such as containers and networking components, are covered without counting against this dimension.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What resource types count as a core resource for billing?
Core resources are server-like components: virtual machines, databases, and file systems. Arpio counts only these types against your license. Other resources, including containers, networking components, and general infrastructure, do not count. Arpio calculates your usage by analyzing the core resources protected across your applications.
What happens if I exceed the number of core resources I purchased?
Arpio does not shut down your disaster recovery if your core resource count fluctuates or temporarily exceeds your license count. Cloud environments are dynamic, so short-term overages are tolerated. Additional core resources beyond your included quantity are available for a fee.
Does Arpio charge based on how much data I store?
No. Arpio does not store data on your behalf, so it does not charge based on the size of protected data stores. Billing is based only on core resource count. You remain responsible for copy, egress, and storage charges that Arpio orchestrates within your own cloud environment.
