How does it work?

1. Initiation

• Our senior AWS FinOps specialists will begin by working backwards to understand your current challenges related to AWS cost and usage and utilising FinOps best practices.

2. Preparation

• We will utilise the AWS Well Architected Framework to assess your current FinOps maturity and jointly review the output to understand improvements and deliver training to address gaps.
• We will guide you to implement a cost observability solution utilising cloud native tooling.
• We will then assess your AWS architecture and current spend and usage, and guide you to select architectural improvements that will optimise and reduce costs.
• We will define the goals for the execution event and ensure the right teams are enabled and available to participate.

3. Execution

• The engagement culminates in a 1-day agile execution event facilitated by us to bring all your relevant teams together i.e. Engineering, Development, Finance, etc.
• In this event empowered by our AWS FinOps experts your teams will collaborate to implement and improve FinOps practices, and the architectural changes required to reduce costs.

4. Review and Accelerate

• We will complete a retrospective and validate the outcomes of the execution event, identifying next steps to continue your FinOps best practice implementation and cost optimisation.
