An Inpatient workflow optimization and virtual health system, powered by a super-fast, secure, cloud-based infrastructure, that seamlessly integrates with the electronic medical record. Proven results across multiple use cases, including tele-hospitalist, virtual rounding, registration and more.
Traditional health care facilities have struggled with the challenge of meeting variable demand (patient arrivals) with fixed capacity (staff and space resources).
Patient admissions, discharges, and needs vary significantly for any given day. This leads to overstaffed, costly scenarios as well as understaffed, stressful environments for both staff and patients alike. Additional stress is caused by the risk of infectious disease transmission as staff and patients interact with one another.
The Solution: EmOpti's Inpatient Telehealth System, powered by secure, cloud-based automated workflows.
The EmOpti Telehealth Platform supports multiple inpatient use cases, all improving the profitability and quality of care for hospitals. These use cases include:
-Tele-Hospitalist
-Virtual Rounding
-Registration
-Discharge Planning and Teaching
-Social Services and Specialist Consults
-Language Interpretation
-Patient Sitter Services
-Academic Teaching
The addition of remote resources allows on site staffing to match fluctuating patient demands, reducing excessive staffing on slower days while also maintaining high performance on busy days.
EmOpti has proven results for improving patient flow, reducing costs, increasing capacity, enabling revenue growth, and improving patient and provider satisfaction. Whether addressing observation units, med/surg inpatient floors, or behavioral health, EmOpti can help you optimize your operations.

This contract prices around your inpatient bed count. You start with the Base Package, which covers up to 100 staffed in-patient beds and includes a one-time implementation fee. To cover more beds, you add the Additional Beds unit, which scales capacity in blocks of up to 50 staffed in-patient beds. You can buy multiple blocks as your bed count grows. EMR Integration is a separate unit that connects the solution to your electronic medical record system. You combine these units to match your facility size and integration needs.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What counts as a staffed in-patient bed for billing?
A staffed in-patient bed is a hospital bed set up and available for inpatient care. The Base Package covers up to 100 of these beds. Each Additional Beds unit adds capacity for up to 50 more. You count your current staffed bed total to select the right combination.
How do the Base Package, Additional Beds, and EMR Integration units combine on my bill?
All three units bill together on one contract. The Base Package sets your starting capacity and includes a one-time implementation fee. Additional Beds units add capacity in blocks of up to 50 beds. EMR Integration bills separately to connect your electronic medical record system. Bed count drives most of the cost.
What does the EMR Integration unit connect to and what does it do?
The EMR Integration unit links the solution to your electronic medical record system. This enables real-time data flow between your records and the workflow tools. It is priced as a separate unit, so you add it on top of your bed-based units to enable this connection.
