Rocky Linux 9.4 (Rocky 9.4) for ARM64 with support by Rinne Labs
Pricing is based on actual usage, with charges varying according to how much you consume. Subscriptions have no end date and may be canceled any time. Alternatively, you can pay upfront for a contract, which typically covers your anticipated usage for the contract duration. Any usage beyond contract will incur additional usage-based costs.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
You pay by the hour for the Rocky Linux 9.4 ARM64 image, billed per running instance. Pricing scales with the AWS EC2 instance type you choose. Each dimension maps to one ARM64-based instance size across families like general-purpose (m6g, m7g, t4g, a1), compute-optimized (c6g, c7g, c7gn), memory-optimized (r6g, r7g, x2gd), storage-optimized (i4g, im4gn, is4gen), graphics (g5g), and high-performance computing (hpc7g). Larger sizes and metal options cost more per hour. The software hourly rate is added to standard AWS infrastructure charges. Vendor support and image customization are available on request.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What does one hour of billing cover for a given instance type?
You pay the software rate for each hour an instance of that type runs. The rate is tied to the EC2 instance size you launch, from small shared types up to bare-metal and 16xlarge sizes. Each dimension maps to one specific ARM64 instance type.
Am I charged the software rate when my instance is stopped?
The software charge meters running time only. A stopped instance does not accrue the hourly software rate. You may still pay standard AWS charges for attached storage while the instance is stopped. Charges resume when you start the instance again.
What is included with the image, and are updates or customization extra?
The image ships as a minimal install with SELinux enabled, cloud-init, an expandable root disk, and the latest security updates at release. It keeps itself up to date at no added cost. Vendor support and image customization are available on request by contacting the vendor.
