AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
You run this software free of any license charge. You pay only for the AWS EC2 compute instance you choose to host it on, billed hourly. The dimensions are not feature tiers. Each one is a different EC2 instance type. They vary by processor family, memory, and storage profile, such as compute-optimized, memory-optimized, and storage-optimized options in medium and large sizes. Pick the instance that matches your workload size. Your hourly cost scales with the capacity of the instance you select, since larger or specialized instances carry higher rates.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What does the hourly rate cover, and what does it not include?
The hourly rate covers the software license, which is free, plus the EC2 instance you run it on. It does not include separate AWS charges for storage, data transfer, or other AWS services you add. Those appear on your AWS bill independently of this listing.
Am I charged when my EC2 instance is stopped or paused?
The software license carries no charge, so nothing accrues from the listing itself. When an instance is stopped, you stop paying for its running compute hours. Attached storage and other AWS resources may still incur AWS fees while the instance is stopped.
How do I choose between the medium and large instance options?
Medium instances offer less compute and memory than large instances in the same family. Pick a size that matches your expected user volume and workload. The platform is built to handle high user volumes and multi-tenant setups, so scale the instance up as concurrent learner activity grows.

An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources.
