eXate is a distributed software platform for enforcing data privacy, data protection, and dynamic ABAC Attribute Based Access Control (ABAC) by embedding centralised controls in common data ingress and egress points
eXate is a Data Privacy and Protection solution with two core products:
APIgator protects Data in Motion flowing between computer systems.
Datagator protects Data at Rest, the data stored in databases or other sources.
Our solutions work hand in hand to identify and automate the access to data through the enforcement of policies at a granular data level, down to individual records and data attributes.

Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before it ends, access to these entitlements will expire.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
You buy this platform under a contract based on how many API calls you use per calendar month. The six options form a usage ladder. Freemium covers up to 1,000 calls monthly. Team allows up to 250,000 calls. Team + raises the ceiling to 1 million. Expanding covers up to 4 million. The two Enterprise Packages handle higher volumes: Enterprise Package 1 spans 4 million to 8 million calls, and Enterprise Package 2 spans 8 million to 10 million. You pick the tier that matches your expected monthly call volume.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What counts as one call for billing against my monthly quota?
A call is a protection request made against the platform. This includes REST and gRPC calls that secure data in transit through APIs or gateways, plus protection applied to data at rest across databases and files. Each request counts as one call toward your calendar-month quota.
What happens if my call volume exceeds my tier's monthly quota?
Each tier sets a maximum quota per calendar month. Freemium caps at 1,000 calls, Team at 250,000, Team + at 1 million, and Expanding at 4 million. The Enterprise Packages cover ranges above 4 million. If your volume outgrows a tier, you move to the tier that fits your expected monthly calls.
Does the quota reset each month, or does unused capacity carry over?
Each tier defines a maximum quota per calendar month. The count applies within a single calendar month, so your usage measures against that monthly ceiling. For details on how unused capacity is treated at month end, contact the vendor.
