AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Pricing is based on actual usage, with charges varying according to how much you consume. Subscriptions have no end date and may be canceled any time. Alternatively, you can pay upfront for a contract, which typically covers your anticipated usage for the contract duration. Any usage beyond contract will incur additional usage-based costs.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
If you are an AWS Free Tier customer with a free plan, you are eligible to subscribe to this offer. You can use free credits to cover the cost of eligible AWS infrastructure. See AWS Free Tier for more details. If you created an AWS account before July 15th, 2025, and qualify for the Legacy AWS Free Tier, Amazon EC2 charges for Micro instances are free for up to 750 hours per month. See Legacy AWS Free Tier for more details.
You pay by the hour for a HIPAA Compliant Rocky Linux 9 virtual machine, hardened using STIG and NIST frameworks. Each dimension maps to a specific AWS EC2 instance type, so you only choose the hardware size that fits your workload. The hourly rate rises as you move to instances with more CPU, memory, storage, or GPU capacity. General-purpose, compute-optimized, memory-optimized, storage-optimized, GPU, and bare-metal families are all available. Pricing scales with the instance you select, and you can stop or change instances as needs shift. No upfront commitment applies to this usage-based model.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What does one hourly unit cover for a chosen instance type like m7a.large?
Each hourly unit covers one running virtual machine of the selected EC2 instance type. The machine runs HIPAA Compliant Rocky Linux 9, hardened with STIG and NIST frameworks. You are billed for each hour the instance runs, matched to the size and family you pick.
Am I charged the software fee when my instance is stopped?
The software fee meters running time only. A fully stopped instance does not accrue the hourly software charge. Underlying AWS storage costs for the volume may still apply while the instance is stopped. Charges resume when you start the instance again.
How does my cost change if I switch to a larger instance type?
Your hourly rate follows the instance type you run at any given time. Moving to an instance with more CPU, memory, storage, or GPU raises the hourly rate. Switching back lowers it. Only the instance you actively run is billed, so changes take effect immediately.
