Overview
CloudCasa is a Kubernetes backup, recovery, DR, and migration service for development, DevOps, platform engineering and IT ops teams. It supports EKS and all other major Kubernetes distributions and managed services including AKS, GKE, and Red Hat OpenShift.
Just install the agent on your clusters and let CloudCasa do all the hard work of protecting your cluster resources and persistent data from human error, security breaches, and service failures, providing the business continuity and compliance that your business requires.
With CloudCasa, you can also centrally manage existing Velero backup installations across multiple clusters and cloud providers and manage backups for RDS cloud databases.

Pricing
Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor, and additional usage. You pay upfront or in installments according to your contract terms with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. Usage-based pricing is in effect for overages or additional usage not covered in the contract. These charges are applied on top of the contract price. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before the contract end date, access to your entitlements will expire.

Dimensions summary
This contract pricing combines one base subscription with two add-on options. The monthly subscription is your starting point and includes one worker node. You add capacity as your needs grow. Buy additional worker nodes to protect more Kubernetes workloads, billed per node. Optional storage usage is billed per GB-month, so you pay for the backup storage you actually consume. The base subscription is required; the worker nodes and storage scale independently on top of it. Total cost depends on how many nodes you add and how much storage you use.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
A worker node is a Kubernetes cluster node that runs your application workloads and gets protected. The base subscription includes one worker node. When you protect clusters with more nodes, you add worker nodes to match the number of nodes across your protected clusters. Each added node bills separately.
You always pay the monthly base subscription, which includes one worker node. Add worker node charges for each node beyond that first one. Optional storage bills per GB-month for the backup storage you consume. All three appear together on the same invoice. Worker node count usually drives cost for larger clusters.
Optional storage usage bills per GB-month, so you pay only for the backup storage you actually consume. If your stored backup data grows, storage charges rise. If it shrinks, they fall. This charge is separate from the base subscription and worker node charges.
