Proof of Concept on AWS

Deciding whether to migrate to AWS cloud or whether to invest on new use cases or feature development can be challenging and time-consuming, given the wide AWS offering and the uncertainty about the outcome. The process can be accelerated through AWS Partners, to minimize time and effort investment and conduct proper testing before deciding if the solution should be released to Production.

The Proof of Concept (PoC) approach is a comprehensive approach that allows you to test and run new workloads on the AWS Cloud while reducing the time and effort investment. It includes the design of a complete solution and the deployment of a working sandbox environment which can be used for testing and benchmarking different Cloud components, for you to make an exhaustive evaluation before committing to bigger applications or Production workloads.

While the project is customized and use-case driven, so it can vary widely according to the scope, the following components are typically included in the PoC:

• Networking & Security
• Application Set-Up & Hosting
• Price and Performance Benchmarking
• Monitoring & Documentation

At the end of the PoC, you will get:

• A fully working sandbox environment (functional prototype on AWS)
• Insights into cost-performance ratio
• Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)
• Important factors needed to consider before deciding to commit long-term to the Cloud
• Understanding of integration possibilities with your current IT infrastructure

Everything will be deployed on your account and subject to your own Intellectual Property of the solution. Comprehensive Knowledge Transfer sessions and documentation will ensure your ability to use the setup in autonomy.

The investment needed is usually minimal or very low, depending on available funding options from AWS and time investment from our side. Precise estimations will be communicated and agreed upon before starting any workloads.
