Launchnodes provision of the LACNet membership
Launchnodes provides LACNet blockchain nodes on the LACNet Mainnet Omega network, built using Hyperledger Besu technology. The LACNet Mainnet enables the development of your blockchain solutions and projects in a simple, sustainable, and scalable way.
The LACChain Mainnet Omega network is the evolution of the LACChain Open Protestnet network, used by more than 140 entities and 80 projects as their trusted blockchain infrastructure, which is orchestrated by LACNet.
You can choose between three different membership packages to deploy writer nodes that can send transactions to the Mainnet. Choose a membership that best suits your organisations size and technical requirements. You can also use the LACChain Open Protestnet if you want to try the LACChain Mainnet Omega
Choose your membership and join the largest public-permissioned blockchain network. Important: please use your corporate email address to sign-up and allow 2-3 business days to complete the provisioning process. If in doubt, please reach out to us at tech.support@lac-net.net

AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Pricing is based on actual usage, with charges varying according to how much you consume. Subscriptions have no end date and may be canceled any time. Alternatively, you can pay upfront for a contract, which typically covers your anticipated usage for the contract duration. Any usage beyond contract will incur additional usage-based costs.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
This listing uses one pricing dimension: Container Hours. You pay based on how many hours your node container runs. There are no tiers or instance sizes to choose from. Billing scales directly with usage, so your cost rises or falls with the number of hours you run. This supports deploying your own writer node on the LACChain Mainnet Omega network using AWS. You must first apply and gain approval to join the permissioned network before setting up and running your node.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What counts as one Container Hour for billing?
One Container Hour is one hour that your node container runs. Each running hour adds one unit to your bill. Counting reflects actual runtime, so a container running around the clock accrues hours continuously until you stop it.
Am I charged when my node container is stopped or not running?
Charges apply only while the container runs. Hours accrue for each hour of active runtime. When you stop the container, no further Container Hours are billed. Note that underlying AWS resources, such as your EKS cluster or storage, may still incur separate AWS charges.
Do I need approval before I can run and be billed for a node?
Yes. LACNet Mainnet is a permissioned network. Your organisation must apply and be approved before setting up a node on AWS. Billing for Container Hours begins only once you deploy and run your node after approval.

Containers are lightweight, portable execution environments that wrap server application software in a filesystem that includes everything it needs to run. Container applications run on supported container runtimes and orchestration services, such as Amazon Elastic Container Service (Amazon ECS) or Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (Amazon EKS). Both eliminate the need for you to install and operate your own container orchestration software by managing and scheduling containers on a scalable cluster of virtual machines.
