Overview
Provides Continuous, real-time monitoring to detect malicious activity across the entire network. When an attack is discovered, it's reported to the customer with detailed context to show when an attack took place, who was impacted, and which IoC is associated with the incident.
Lumu continuously collects network metadata from your AWS VPC roaming devices and on-prem environments. Metadata collected from these sources includes DNS, proxy/firewall logs, netflows, and spambox. This paints a detailed picture of your entire network.
All metadata is run through Lumu's Illumination Process for close analysis leveraging machine learning and AI to confirm instances of compromise. Once compromise is confirmed, an incident is created and action to remediate the threat is prompted by incident response integrations in real-time.
Product Tiers: -Insights: Offers asset-level visibility into who was impacted by a threat and when it happened with detailed context to understand the nature of the attack. -Defender: Provides the same level of incident detail as Insights with automated threat response in real-time.

Each of those two lines comes sized for 500 or 1,000 assets, so pricing scales with the number of assets you protect. Lumu Free is a no-cost option offering basic network threat visibility. All paid tiers are billed as a contract commitment.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
An asset is any device connected to or monitored on your network. This includes laptops, servers, cloud environments, IP cameras, and IoT devices. Each device counts toward your 500 or 1,000 asset total.
Both give asset-level visibility that identifies which devices are compromised. Defender adds automated response capabilities, letting you stop attacks in real time using your existing security tools. Insights focuses on visibility and context without the automated response feature.
Lumu Free provides network-level visibility, showing whether your infrastructure is compromised. It does not identify the exact assets affected. The paid Insights and Defender tiers add asset-level visibility, pinpointing the specific compromised devices.
