Overview
The VMware Optimization and Licensing Assessment (OLA) ARC is the best method for clients to save on licensing costs when migrating VMware workloads to AWS. It assesses the current on-premises and cloud environments based on running resources and provides recommendations to optimize instances and VMware licensing for up to 160 servers prior to migration. Migration paths for VMware workloads include AWS Cloud Native, Amazon Elastic VMware Service (EVS), Nutanix Cloud Clusters (NC2), and Red Hat OpenShift (ROSA).
Delivery timeline is 3-weeks and is executed in 4 phases: Kickoff, Data Collection, Analysis, Document Transfer and Closure. Being that this is an assessment, no additional support hours are required beyond the Knowledge Transfer included.
Highlights
- The OLA for VMware solution quickly helps customers understand the optimization opportunities as they think about migrating their workloads from on-prem to cloud.
