AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Pricing is based on actual usage, with charges varying according to how much you consume. Subscriptions have no end date and may be canceled any time. Alternatively, you can pay upfront for a contract, which typically covers your anticipated usage for the contract duration. Any usage beyond contract will incur additional usage-based costs.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
You pay by the hour based on the EC2 instance size that runs this web application scanning software. Four instance sizes are available: t3.small, t3.medium, t3.large, and t3.xlarge. Each size reflects a different amount of compute power, so you choose the one that fits your scanning workload. Hourly billing means your cost scales with how long each instance runs. Larger instance sizes carry higher hourly rates because they provide more processing capacity. You are not locked into a fixed term; usage-based billing charges you only for the hours you run.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What does one hourly unit cover — the instance running the software or the number of web apps scanned?
Each hourly unit reflects one EC2 instance running the scanning software. You pay for the time that instance stays running, regardless of how many web applications you scan during that time. The instance size you pick sets the hourly rate.
Am I charged when the instance is stopped or paused?
Software charges meter running time only. When you stop or power off the instance, the hourly software charge stops accruing. Underlying AWS storage fees may still apply while the instance exists in a stopped state, but the scanning software bills for active hours.
How do I decide which instance size fits my scanning needs?
Each size — t3.small, t3.medium, t3.large, and t3.xlarge — offers a different amount of compute. The software crawls running web apps to find vulnerabilities like cross-site scripting and SQL injection. Heavier scanning workloads across many applications benefit from a size with more processing capacity.

An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.
