Overview
tiger Suite: modular core insurance platform
tiger Suite is a modular, API-first insurance platform built by tigerlab for insurers, MGAs, brokers, underwriting teams and embedded insurance providers. Rather than a monolithic core system replacement, tiger Suite is composed of independently deployable components, so carriers can modernise where the business case is strongest, such as a claims module, an agent portal or a rating engine, and extend into a full core platform over time, without a multi-year big-bang programme.
Platform components
Policy administration: multi-line, multi-currency policy lifecycle covering quote, issuance, endorsement, renewal and cancellation, with a single system of record across lines of business.
Underwriting workbench: consolidated case and referral management with risk data, documents, rating output and authority rules in one queue, supporting consistent and auditable decisions.
Rating engine: configurable rating, pricing and product definition, enabling business teams to launch products and change rates without code changes.
Claims management: digital first notification of loss, structured workflow, adjudication, reserving, approval authority control and settlement, with straight-through processing for low-complexity claims.
Billing and collections: premium schedules, instalments, receipting, reconciliation, and producer commission calculation and settlement.
Broker and agent portals: authenticated self-service for quoting, binding, endorsements, renewals, document access and production and commission visibility.
Embedded insurance: API-based distribution enabling ecosystem partners to be onboarded through reusable integrations rather than bespoke builds.
AI automation and analytics: document and data extraction, decision support across underwriting and claims, and operational and portfolio reporting.
Why tiger Suite
Low-code and no-code configuration moves product, rating and workflow change from engineering backlogs to business teams, shortening time-to-market for new products and regulatory change. The API-first architecture allows tiger Suite to run alongside existing core systems and integrate with policy, finance, payment, telematics and partner platforms, so modernisation is incremental and lower-risk. Workflow automation and straight-through processing reduce manual handling and cost per policy and per claim.
Built for the cloud
tiger Suite is cloud-native and deployed on AWS, using managed compute, database, storage, networking and security services to provide elastic capacity for renewal and campaign peaks, high availability, disaster recovery and predictable operating cost. tigerlab is an AWS Partner Network member and supports SaaS, dedicated-tenant and customer-account deployment models to meet data residency and regulatory requirements.
Compliance and security
tigerlab maintains SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001, and tiger Suite supports GDPR and DORA obligations alongside local insurance regulatory reporting requirements.
Who it is for
Commercial and specialty insurers, MGAs and underwriting agencies, brokers, and embedded insurance providers, particularly those modernising legacy core systems incrementally, scaling partner and digital distribution, or launching new lines and products at speed.
Highlights
- Modular, API-first core insurance platform. Adopt policy administration, underwriting, rating, claims, billing or broker portals individually and extend to a full core suite over time, avoiding multi-year big-bang core replacement.
- Launch and reprice products without development cycles. Low-code configuration of products, rating and workflow moves change from engineering backlogs to business teams, cutting time-to-market for new products and regulatory change.
- Scale embedded insurance and digital distribution. API-first integration onboards ecosystem partners, brokers and agents through reusable interfaces instead of bespoke builds, and runs cloud-native on AWS with elastic capacity and high availability.
