Overview
Amach AI Navigator — Embedded AI Engineering for Aviation
In aviation, a navigator plots the course through complex terrain — identifying the optimal route, anticipating obstacles, and keeping the aircraft on track. Amach AI Navigator does the same for your AI programme: embedding specialist AI engineers alongside your team to move your organisation from AI experimentation to production-grade, measurable outcomes on AWS.
This is a Professional Services engagement delivered end-to-end by Amach's specialist AI engineering team, purpose-built for aviation.
Engagement Phases
Phase 1 — Discovery & Prioritisation Amach's engineers assess your data environment, existing AWS services, business processes, and AI readiness. The output is a ranked AI opportunity map — use cases scored by business impact, technical feasibility, data availability, and time-to-value — alongside a delivery roadmap and a target operating model for AI in your organisation.
Phase 2 — Build & Validation Amach engineers embed in your team — building, testing, and refining AI solutions against real operational data and real business criteria. Solutions are validated for both technical performance and business value before moving to production. Where a use case does not validate, it is replaced with the next priority, ensuring every week delivers progress.
Phase 3 — Production Deployment & Enablement Validated solutions move into live operation with full monitoring, observability, and alerting. Knowledge transfer is delivered so your team can operate, retrain, and extend each solution independently. A formal handover pack covers architecture, operational runbooks, retraining procedures, and governance controls.
Aviation AI Credentials
Amach has delivered AI and data solutions for IAG Group and Lufthansa Group — two of the world's largest airline groups — alongside major European airports and a global PSS SaaS provider. Our engineers understand aviation's data landscape: PSS systems, ACARS and sensor feeds, GDS integrations, turnaround platforms, and the regulatory frameworks governing data use across the sector.
Key AWS Services
- Amazon Bedrock — foundation model orchestration, RAG pipelines, and generative AI applications
- Amazon SageMaker — model training, deployment, MLOps, and real-time inference
- Amazon OpenSearch — AI-powered search, semantic retrieval, and knowledge base management
- AWS Glue & Amazon Athena — data preparation, transformation, and analytics at scale
- Amazon Kinesis — real-time streaming for operational and sensor data ingestion
- Amazon Connect — AI-powered contact centre and conversational passenger services
- Amazon QuickSight — AI-driven analytics, dashboards, and operational reporting
- AWS Lambda & Amazon ECS — serverless and containerised AI inference and orchestration
- AWS IAM & Amazon Macie — AI data governance, access control, and compliance
AI-Accelerated Delivery
Amach engineers use Claude Code (Anthropic's agentic AI coding CLI) and Kiro (AWS's spec-driven agentic IDE) to accelerate data pipeline development, model integration code, and infrastructure configuration. Both tools are available to your engineering team post-handover — so the delivery acceleration becomes a capability your team inherits.
Aviation Use Cases
- Intelligent Flight Disruption Management — real-time AI recovery planning, automated passenger notifications, and crew optimisation on Amazon Bedrock
- Predictive Aircraft Maintenance — sensor and MRO data ingestion on SageMaker to surface early fault indicators and reduce AOG events
- Passenger Demand & Revenue Forecasting — AI-powered demand models for pricing, capacity, and ancillary revenue optimisation
- AI-Powered Passenger Experience — conversational AI on Amazon Bedrock and Connect for contact centre deflection and service recovery
- Ground Operations Optimisation — AI scheduling and turnaround prediction for airports and ground handlers
- Automated Compliance Monitoring — AI-driven regulatory reporting and anomaly detection for safety and compliance teams
Scope & Prerequisites
Buyers provide: access to relevant data sources and AWS environment; engagement from business and data owners for use case validation; a named internal product or programme owner.
Available as a bundle: Amach Aviation AWS Landing Zone (secure data and AI foundation), Amach Tailwind Engineering (ongoing infrastructure support), and post-engagement support tiers.
Not included: proprietary third-party data licences or PSS vendor integration fees; model fine-tuning on data not in the customer's AWS environment; permanent AI operations staffing.
Highlights
- Aviation-proven AI engineering team with credentials from IAG Group, Lufthansa Group, and major European airports — embedding directly in your team to move AI from experiment to production
- End-to-end AWS AI stack across Amazon Bedrock, SageMaker, Kinesis, Connect, and OpenSearch — delivering aviation-specific use cases including disruption management, predictive maintenance, demand forecasting, and passenger experience.
- AI-accelerated build using Claude Code and Kiro, with full knowledge transfer at every phase so your team operates, retrains, and extends every solution independently post-handover.

Getting Started
Contact Amach through the AWS Marketplace or email the Amach sales team at sales@amach.com to schedule a scoping conversation. An Amach Account Manager will engage to understand your AI priorities, data environment, and AWS readiness — and to agree an engagement structure and start date.
Post-Deployment Support
Amach offers two support tiers to maintain continuity of your AI solutions post-engagement.
Business Tier — for organisations with live AI workloads at moderate scale.
Enterprise Tier — for business-critical AI workloads.
Cases are submitted through the Amach support portal.
Escalation
All support customers have access to a dedicated Amach Account Manager and, at Enterprise tier, a designated TAM — both providing a direct escalation path and a built-in route to AWS when required.
During the Engagement
Amach AI Navigator operates with full transparency throughout all three phases. Weekly progress reviews, shared delivery tracking, and phase-gate reviews ensure your stakeholders maintain visibility of use case progress, validation outcomes, and delivery status. All code, models, pipelines, and documentation are handed over progressively — nothing is locked in Amach tooling at engagement close.
