AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before it ends, access to these entitlements will expire.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
Pricing centers on the Creator w/ Subscription license, which gives read, write, and publish access. This is your required starting point. Three add-on user types build on it for different roles: Viewer for read-only access, Contributor for read and write, and Mobile Worker for field access. You buy each by the unit, matching the number of users to their role. Add-on Credits are a separate, usage-based option sold in blocks of 1,000. You spend credits on cloud services like analysis and storage, and must use them within 24 months.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What does each user type unit map to, and how do the roles differ?
Each unit is one named user account tied to a role. Creator gives read, write, and publish access. Viewer allows read-only viewing of maps and dashboards. Contributor adds simple editing on top of viewing. Mobile Worker adds field apps for assignments, data updates, and navigation. You count one unit per person.
Why must I buy the Creator subscription before adding Viewer, Contributor, or Mobile Worker users?
Creator w/ Subscription is the required starting point that establishes your organization. Viewer, Contributor, and Mobile Worker are add-ons layered onto that Creator subscription. You cannot buy them alone. First set your Creator count, then add each role by the unit to match your users.
How do Add-on Credits work alongside the user type licenses, and what happens if I do not use them?
Credits bill separately from user licenses, sold in blocks of 1,000. User seats cover platform access; credits cover cloud services like analysis and storage. Both appear on the same account but meter independently. You must spend credits within 24 months. Unused credits after that window are not carried forward.
