What is our primary use case?
My primary use case for Veeam Backup for AWSÂ is to provide backup solutions for virtual machines running Windows.
What is most valuable?
Veeam Backup for AWSÂ has valuable features such as easy management and installation. It is straightforward to install, easy to support, and delivers quick responses to support cases. They provide fast solutions for cases like software updates that halted backup functions. It addresses backup needs effectively, although pricing remains a challenge.
What needs improvement?
There is room for improvement in Veeam Backup for AWS regarding its pricing. There are alternative solutions available at a lower price. The product would benefit from adding more security features and improving compatibility with other operating systems like IBM AIX. Moreover, offering different licensing models, such as packages or perpetual licenses, other than subscription, could be advantageous.

I have used Veeam Backup for AWS for one year.
How are customer service and support?
I have a positive experience with Veeam Backup for AWS support. When I upgraded my version and faced backup issues, support was prompt to ask questions and provided updates to fix the problem quickly.

What other advice do I have?

What do you like best about the product?
Veeam is such a simple product to deploy, implement and use. The support is phenomenal. Pricing is extremely competitive, which is critical in an emerging market. Veeam backup for AWS is so seamless, you could think it is an AWS native product!
What do you dislike about the product?
Some technical support is required for complex AWS workload configurations
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As an AWS professional partner, we have always used native products for migrations and backups. Veeam fits in so seamlessly that it has become our only migration and backup tool when setting up customers in AWS.

What do you like best about the product?
Veenam provides best in class Secure backup and fast recovery and monitoring solutions, easy to integrate with AWS.
What do you dislike about the product?
Support for multi-cloud systems could have been improved as frequency of use of different providers has been increased.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Faster data backup and recovery can be implemented using Veeam Backup for AWS which ultimately improves the downtime.

What do you like best about the product?
Best to take dynamodb and lambda entry and logs backup and also good for taking RDS volumes backup.
What do you dislike about the product?
Veeam is good service but taking time to get connection up

Some time we loose volume entries so it's very helpful to keep records backup always and it's make it best practices.
