Each dimension maps to a specific instance type, spanning general-purpose (t2, t3, m5, m6a, m7a, m7i, m7i-flex) and memory-optimized (r5, r5a, r7a, r7i, r7iz) families in large and xlarge sizes. The larger and higher-specification instances carry higher hourly rates. You choose the instance that fits your compute and memory needs, and your hourly cost follows that selection.

What does the hourly rate for each dimension actually cover?
The rate covers the software running on one AWS EC2 instance of the type named in that dimension. You pay per hour that instance runs. Each instance type differs by CPU and memory. The larger and higher-specification types carry higher hourly rates. AWS charges the underlying compute and storage separately.
Am I charged when the KeyHub instance is stopped or powered off?
The hourly software charge meters running time only. When you stop the instance, the software charge stops accruing. You may still pay AWS for attached storage while the instance is stopped. Restarting the instance resumes the hourly software charge.
How does KeyHub get deployed, and does that affect the hourly cost?
You deploy KeyHub as a virtual appliance image that runs on your chosen EC2 instance. Your hourly cost follows the instance type you pick, not the number of users or groups. Selecting a memory-optimized type raises the rate compared with a general-purpose type of the same size.
