Overview
Search HQ is a comprehensive solution designed to enhance Amazon OpenSearch Service, enabling customers to build rich hybrid search and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) applications without the need for configuring complex search pipelines or setting up related services.
With Search HQ, users can seamlessly integrate Amazon Bedrock or built-in SageMaker models to provide embeddings used by neural search. We also offer a variety of algorithm options to combine keyword and neural search effectively.
Beyond hybrid search capabilities, Search HQ includes a resource-based auto-scaling feature that scales the OpenSearch cluster based on CPU usage rather than storage usage.
The OpenSearch Gateway allows users to connect to the OpenSearch service from their local servers without the need for complex site-to-site VPC connections. It also supports logging with Data Firehose, enabling users to analyze search logs later with Athena.
