Overview
EvolveAccess answers the questions auditors and security teams ask most: who can access sensitive data, how they got that access, and what they actually did with it. It scans permissions and activity across databases, file shares, cloud storage, Active Directory and Linux and Windows servers, and brings them together in one searchable index.
Teams use it to find sensitive data, run access reviews and certifications, spot stale and excessive access, and produce reports mapped to common compliance frameworks. Everything runs on one EC2 instance inside your own AWS account, so your data never leaves it.
This listing is Bring Your Own License: AWS charges only for the server, and you activate the software with an EvolveAccess licence file. To obtain a licence, contact support@evolveaccess.com .
Highlights
- One view of access across SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Databricks, file shares, S3, Azure Blob and Active Directory.

- Deploys in about five minutes on a single instance you control.

64-bit (x86) Amazon Machine Image (AMI)
Amazon Machine Image (AMI)
An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.
Version release notes
EvolveAccess 261010a on Ubuntu 24.04 LTS with the 6.8 LTS kernel. The setup wizard now asks for a claim code, the EC2 instance ID, before any setup step, so only the instance owner can complete setup. Adds Microsoft 365 email delivery and full text indexing fixes.

Usage instructions
Launch on an instance with at least 8 vCPU and 32 GB of memory. The platform installs itself on first boot and is ready in about 5 minutes. Open https://<instance address>/ in a browser. The setup wizard first asks for a claim code: enter this instance's ID (for example i-0123456789abcdef0), shown in the EC2 console, in Get system log, and in the SSH login message. Then complete the setup wizard and install your EvolveAccess licence. We recommend limiting port 443 to your own network. Support: support@evolveaccess.com
