AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Pricing is based on actual usage, with charges varying according to how much you consume. Subscriptions have no end date and may be canceled any time. Alternatively, you can pay upfront for a contract, which typically covers your anticipated usage for the contract duration. Any usage beyond contract will incur additional usage-based costs.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
If you are an AWS Free Tier customer with a free plan, you are eligible to subscribe to this offer. You can use free credits to cover the cost of eligible AWS infrastructure. See AWS Free Tier for more details. If you created an AWS account before July 15th, 2025, and qualify for the Legacy AWS Free Tier, Amazon EC2 charges for Micro instances are free for up to 750 hours per month. See Legacy AWS Free Tier for more details.
You pay by the hour for a preconfigured LAMP Stack on AlmaLinux 8. Pricing is usage-based, so you are billed only for the hours each instance runs. Each dimension maps to a specific AWS EC2 instance type, from small burstable options like t1.micro and t2.nano up to large compute, memory, storage, and accelerated instances. The hourly rate scales with the instance size and family you select. There are no tiers or add-ons — you choose the instance type that fits your workload, and the software cost attaches to that instance. Larger instances carry higher hourly rates.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What does one hourly unit cover, and what runs on the instance I select?
One unit is one running EC2 instance of the type you pick. Each instance comes preconfigured with the LAMP Stack on AlmaLinux 8 — the Linux operating system, web server, database, and PHP. You pay the software rate for every hour that instance runs.
Am I charged the software fee when my instance is stopped or paused?
The software charge meters running hours only. A stopped or paused instance does not accrue the hourly software fee. Note that AWS may still bill separately for attached storage while the instance is stopped, but that is an AWS infrastructure cost, not the software charge.
If I switch to a larger instance type, how does my bill change?
The software rate attaches to the instance type you select, and larger families and sizes carry higher hourly rates. Changing instance types is manual — you launch or relaunch on the new type. Your bill then reflects the rate of whichever type is running each hour.
