Dimensions summary
You pay by the hour based on the EC2 instance size you run. The software price is the same across all instances; your cost changes with the compute type you pick. Options span several instance families: T-series burstable instances for light or intermittent use, M-series general-purpose instances, C-series compute-optimized instances, R-series memory-optimized instances, and I-series storage-optimized instances. Within each family, sizes range from nano and micro up to 2xlarge. Larger sizes carry higher hourly rates. You choose the size that fits your game server load and pay only for the hours you run.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
The software fee meters running instance-hours only. A fully stopped instance stops accruing hourly software charges. You may still pay AWS for attached storage while the instance is stopped, but the software licence bills running time. Charges resume when you start the instance again.
The hourly rate covers the preconfigured appliance running on your chosen EC2 instance size. It installs a game catalog and a wrapper supporting more than 100 game servers, including Counter-Strike, Minecraft, and others. The game server software is open source, so no separate per-game charge applies beyond your instance-hours.
Each dimension maps to one EC2 instance type billed per hour. T-series suits light or intermittent play; larger M, C, R, or I sizes handle heavier loads. To resize, stop the instance and relaunch on a different size. Your hourly rate then follows the new instance you run.

Usage instructions
System initialization
After launch, browse to http://<Public_DNS>/ and complete the first-boot configuration, or connect by SSH using the key pair selected at launch.
Operating system access
Connect using SSH as the Linux user admin with the selected EC2 key pair. Run privileged commands with sudo; this provides full OS-level administration.
Application access
Open http://<Public_DNS>/ in a web browser. The application may redirect to HTTPS after configuration.
