Kickdrum’s Security Penetration Test will test and evaluate the security of external network targets as well as validate your security and protection against outside attackers, malware, lateral and vertical privilege escalation, and account hijacking.
Here's how it works:
Perform a Perimeter Security Assessment (PSA)
We use a combination of automated scanning and expert manual testing to uncover vulnerabilities accessible from the internet - “the hacker’s perspective”. We then exploit vulnerabilities (without damaging systems or data) to assess severity, exposure, and potential impact of a breach.
Perform a Web Application Security Assessment (WASA)
The WASA includes vulnerability assessment and penetration testing of web-based and intranet applications to validate security and protection against outside attackers, malware, lateral and vertical privilege escalation, and account hijacking.
Provide Validated PSA and WASA Summary Reports
Our team of experts validate both the automated and manual test results for the PSA and WASA. We provide your team with the results of both in an easy-to-understand format.

- A comprehensive report with summary of automated and manual penetration tests, along with detailed findings and remediation recommendations. This report may include recommended changes to Web Application Framework, Application Load Balancers, VPC Configuration and EC2 Configurations, and other prescriptive recommendations.
- Perimeter Security Assessment and Web Application Security Assessment to determine vulnerabilities exposed to the public internet.
