Sphere's DevSecOps Delivery Teams help organizations design, build, modernize, and securely deliver applications on AWS. Our engineering teams work in agile sprint cycles to implement cloud-native architectures, CI/CD automation, infrastructure as code, security controls, and application improvements aligned with your technical and business priorities.

    Overview

Sphere's DevSecOps Delivery Teams are a professional services offering for organizations building, modernizing, and operating software solutions on AWS.

Sphere provides experienced software engineers, cloud architects, DevOps specialists, security professionals, and product experts who work as an extension of your internal team. Using an agile, sprint-based delivery model, we help customers implement secure software development practices, cloud-native architectures, automated delivery pipelines, and AWS infrastructure aligned with their business and technical requirements.

Depending on the customer's environment and project requirements, engagements may incorporate AWS services such as Amazon EKS, Amazon ECS, AWS Lambda, Amazon EC2, Amazon ECR, AWS CodePipeline, AWS CodeBuild, AWS CloudFormation, AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM), AWS Secrets Manager, Amazon CloudWatch, AWS Security Hub, Amazon GuardDuty, and Amazon Inspector.

    DevSecOps and CI/CD Automation

Sphere helps customers design and implement automated software delivery pipelines that integrate development, testing, security, and deployment workflows.

    Services can include:

CI/CD architecture and implementation Infrastructure as code Automated build, test, and deployment workflows Container and Kubernetes implementation Application and dependency security scanning Identity and access-control configuration Secrets and configuration management Logging, monitoring, and observability Environment and release automation

Security practices are incorporated throughout the software development lifecycle rather than added only at the end of development.

    Application Development and Modernization

Sphere's teams can support new application development as well as modernization of existing workloads for AWS. Engagements may include application architecture, API development, microservices, serverless applications, containerization, data integration, business process automation, and user experience improvements.

Our teams work with customers to determine the appropriate AWS architecture and modernization approach based on application requirements, security needs, scalability objectives, and existing technology investments.

    Flexible Sprint-Based Delivery

Work is organized into defined sprint cycles with agreed priorities, objectives, and deliverables. At the end of each sprint, customers can review completed work and adjust priorities for subsequent cycles.

This approach allows the engagement to adapt as requirements change while maintaining visibility into progress, technical decisions, security considerations, and delivered functionality.

    Engagement Approach

    A typical engagement includes:

Discovery and assessment of the customer's AWS environment, applications, development processes, and DevSecOps requirements. Definition of architecture, delivery priorities, security requirements, and an initial sprint backlog. Implementation through iterative development and DevSecOps sprint cycles. Continuous testing, security validation, technical review, and customer feedback. Deployment support, documentation, knowledge transfer, and optimization based on the agreed scope.

Any AWS infrastructure or AWS service usage charges incurred within the customer's AWS account are separate from Sphere's professional services fees and are the responsibility of the customer.
