What do you like best about the product?
It makes it easier to map processes, spot bottlenecks, and keep teams aligned. The analytics give clear insights without a ton of manual effort.
What do you dislike about the product?
It slows down with larger models, the learning curve is steeper than expected, and the cost increases fast when you add advanced features or more users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
SAP Signavio helps us understand how our processes actually work instead of how people assume they work. It highlights bottlenecks, duplicated steps, and inefficiencies that were hard to see before. Having real process data makes it easier to fix issues, standardize workflows, and improve overall performance. It also helps teams align faster because everyone is finally looking at the same information instead of debating opinions.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that SAP Signavio has an array of functionalities that are out of the box. It supports BPMN 2.0, so you can get mapping right away with minimal setup. The Process Manager module helps walk through and set up the tool to our liking. I really like the Dictionary aspect of SAP Signavio because it allows us to have a well-defined set of attributes that are repeatable and reusable. I like that it has different views that can be customized for viewers, editors, owners, etc. The Collaboration Hub is a great space dedicated to collaboration, separating them from the actual working space. It reduces reworks, delays, and wait times for approvals and feedback loops, and it's a great place to build the organization's complexity when it comes to various business entities, stakeholder groups, roles, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
The data and reporting side of SAP Signavio is very weak. The metadata architecture is not easily accessible, making it difficult to unlock the full potential. The UI feels clunky and has an ancient look to it. The workspace could be more dynamic. Leveraging AI capabilities for process mapping would be great. Enabling SSO, integrations, and managing permissions/groups can be manual and time-consuming. Additionally, the initial setup was not easy due to a significant learning curve and a lack of timely, relevant, and useful self-serve materials or resources. We had to invest a lot of time before it became useful, requiring rigorous onboarding and training even for skilled people.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
SAP Signavio helps us maintain a single source of truth for process documentation, ensuring uniform understanding without assumptions. It provides up-to-date, dynamic process maps and supports approval workflows. The Dictionary reduces reworks and delays, while the Collaboration Hub enhances team collaboration.
