Am I charged when my instance is stopped or paused?
The software is free, so no software charge accrues at any time. Hourly charges track the running EC2 instance. A stopped instance stops those compute charges, though AWS storage fees for attached volumes may still apply while the instance is stopped.
What management features come with this MongoDB edition?
The vendor offers a separate semi-managed platform for real-time monitoring, automated backup and recovery, automated deployment, scaling, and security controls with data encryption.
