AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor, and additional usage. You pay upfront or in installments according to your contract terms with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. Usage-based pricing is in effect for overages or additional usage not covered in the contract. These charges are applied on top of the contract price. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before the contract end date, access to your entitlements will expire.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
The Professional Plan is a bundled contract. It includes 3 universal resolver instances, 3 verifier instances, 250,000 DID resolution requests, 250,000 verification requests, and priority support. The other four dimensions let you expand beyond that bundle. You can add capacity per 1,000 resolution requests or per 1,000 verification requests as usage grows. You can also add more infrastructure per resolver instance and per verifier instance. So the base plan sets your starting allowance, and the four per-unit dimensions scale request volume and instance counts independently.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What counts as one resolver instance versus one verifier instance for billing?
A resolver instance runs the Universal Resolver service, which retrieves decentralised identifier documents across supported DID methods. A verifier instance runs the Verifier service, which checks credential signatures, validity dates, and revocation status. Each instance is a separate deployed service, counted individually. The Professional Plan bundles three of each.
What happens if I use more than the 250,000 included resolution or verification requests?
The bundled plan includes 250,000 resolution requests and 250,000 verification requests. When you exceed those allowances, you add capacity through the per-1,000 request dimensions. Resolution and verification requests meter separately, so extra volume on one does not draw down the other. You buy additional request blocks in units of 1,000.
Which charges drive my bill as usage grows — request volume or instance count?
Two cost drivers work independently. Request volume charges accrue per 1,000 resolution or verification requests beyond your included 250,000 each. Instance charges accrue per added resolver or verifier instance beyond the three of each included. High-traffic use raises request charges; adding services raises instance charges. Both appear on the same invoice.
