Overview
The Mira Central Manager takes over the configuration and health monitoring of Encrypted Traffic Orchestrator (ETO) nodes to minimize operational overheads and ensure new policy configurations can be quickly deployed.
The Central Manager can manage and deploy all ETO configuration such as PKI, policies, segments, system configuration and licensing as well as ETO software upgrades.
ETO nodes on enrollment are assigned to a node cluster group that groups configuration settings based on a cluster template. An additional template can be linked into each node which can customize the configuration further.

Dimensions summary
You pay by the hour based on the EC2 instance size you run the Central Manager on. The six options span three instance families: c5, c6i, and c7i. Within each family you choose a 2xlarge or 4xlarge size. Larger sizes give more compute (CPU and memory) for handling more managed nodes. Your cost scales with the instance you select and the number of hours it runs. This software centralizes configuration, health monitoring, and management for your deployed Encrypted Traffic Orchestrator nodes.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
Billing meters instance-hours, so charges accrue only while the instance runs. A stopped instance stops the hourly software charge. You may still pay underlying AWS storage fees for the stopped instance, but the Central Manager software charge tracks running time only.
The Central Manager centralizes configuration, health monitoring, and management for your Encrypted Traffic Orchestrator nodes. One deployment can manage up to 100 nodes. Larger instance sizes provide more CPU and memory to support monitoring and configuration work across more managed nodes.
Each instance option carries its own hourly rate. You choose one instance when you launch the software. Switching to a different family or size means running that instance instead, and its rate then applies. The change is not automatic; you select the instance you run.
