AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor, and additional usage. You pay upfront or in installments according to your contract terms with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. Usage-based pricing is in effect for overages or additional usage not covered in the contract. These charges are applied on top of the contract price. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before the contract end date, access to your entitlements will expire.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
RHINO is a caching module billed on a monthly contract, with six tiers set by usage capacity. Each tier defines two monthly limits: Renders and Hits. RHN FREE covers the smallest volume, then capacity steps up through RHN BISON, RHN BUFFALO, RHN BEAST, and RHN TITAN. RHN COLOSSUS covers the highest monthly volume. You pick the tier matching your expected traffic. As your Render and Hit needs grow, you move to a tier with higher monthly allowances.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What is the difference between a Render and a Hit in these monthly limits?
A Render is the caching module generating or producing a cached page or asset. A Hit is a request served from the cache. Each tier sets separate monthly caps for both. Your usage counts against both meters independently, so both limits apply at the same time.
What happens when my monthly Renders or Hits exceed my tier's limit?
Each tier includes fixed monthly allowances for both Renders and Hits. If your traffic grows past those caps, you move to a tier with higher monthly allowances. The tiers step up from RHN FREE through RHN BISON, RHN BUFFALO, RHN BEAST, RHN TITAN, and RHN COLOSSUS.
Which metric drives which tier I need — Renders or Hits?
Both metrics are billed together under each tier, so neither is optional. You must pick a tier that covers your expected Renders and your expected Hits. Whichever metric you reach first sets the tier you need, since both caps apply within the same monthly period.
