One option bundles the Scout subscription with the Edge Max system, built for primary roads and highways with longer capture distance and higher speed coverage. Another bundles the subscription with the Edge Pro system, suited to neighborhoods and business districts with shorter-range coverage. The third option covers the Scout software subscription alone, without any hardware. The hardware bundles pair that per-camera software subscription with a physical Edge Pro or Edge Max system. The software-only option covers the subscription without any device.
Both bundle the Scout subscription with a camera system. The Edge Pro system covers 1-2 lanes up to 75 feet and 70 mph, suited to neighborhoods and business districts. The Edge Max system covers 3-6 lanes up to 300 feet and 120 mph, built for primary roads and highways.
The software-only option runs Scout on your existing IP, traffic, or security cameras. It includes the searchable vehicle database, live map view, real-time alerting, and configurable data retention. Software updates are included. You supply your own compatible cameras, since no Edge Pro or Edge Max device comes with this option.
