Overview
Tencent Cloud Media Processing Service (Tencent MPS) is a cloud-based multimedia transcoding and processing service. It can handle vast amounts of multimedia data. Tencent MPS performs adaptive transcoding on demand for audio and video files. You can flexibly adjust bitrates and resolutions of multimedia data, making them suitable for OTT services or playback on PC and mobile devices. Tencent MPS received best performance result in both SLC and MSU competition. It supports flexible deployment through proprietary cloud and can meet various media processing needs for customers.

- Top Speed Codec: Empowered by deep learning models, Tencent MPS can identify and categorize video scenes into several scene types. It can then enhance the video quality of each scene type according to the brightness and complexity of the video via optimal encoding parameters, given a same video bitrate.
- Best Performance: Tencent MPS received all excellent ratings in the three main evaluation categories in the Streaming Learning Center (SLC) evaluation. Tencent MPS codecs won all first places among all video codecs in MSU FullHD codec comparison. Tencent MPS also achieved first place among all projects of the AV1 transcoding service in the MSU Cloud Video Transcoding Services Comparison.
