• Parts of the development of AM functions is done on virtual scenes. Most tools use a text-based input, such as ASAM OpenSCENARIO, to describe the scenes e.g. a car moves from one position to another over time. Out of this, virtual simulation engines, such as IPG’s CarMaker, Hexagon’s VTD or Vector’s DYNA4 create videos as input for the camera processing chain. The scenes can be created using Gen AI in following ways: 1/ Gen AI creates the text input out of natural language processing (NLP) e.g., the user asks for a scene of 5 children crossing a street or the user asks for multiple scenes with a car approaching the ego vehicle with different velocities.
