Overview
This is a cloud-native Java runtime with Apache Tomcat® software on the Websoft9 Applications Hosting Platform. It is always up-to-date, secure, and ready to use right out of the box with business support from Websoft9.
Apache Tomcat® software is multiply verion Tomcat/JDK runtime for web application powered by Websoft9, it based on offcial Docker image. You can custom it by yourself very easy.
Websoft9 is a lightweight, self-hosting PaaS that allows you to deploy multiple applications on your own cloud infrastructure. It employs a GitOps approach and includes an integrated app store that supports one-click deployment of over 200 template applications, as well as the ability to deploy custom applications. Users have complete autonomy, ensuring that applications can be easily configured and continuously deployed even after they are live. Additionally, the web-based interface allows users to effortlessly perform tasks such as domain binding, HTTPS setup, access control, and status monitoring.

Dimensions summary
You pay by the hour for the software running on an AWS EC2 instance. This is usage-based billing, so charges accrue only while your instance runs. The many dimensions listed are AWS EC2 instance types, not separate product plans. Each represents a different mix of compute, memory, and storage capacity. Larger or more specialized instance types carry higher hourly rates. You choose the instance type that fits your workload size and performance needs. Your total hourly cost combines the software rate with the underlying EC2 infrastructure charge for the type you select.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
Each hourly unit maps to one running EC2 instance of the type you pick. You deploy a pre-built image that runs a Java web server container environment supporting multiple runtime and JDK versions. The image launches as a single virtual machine, and each running instance meters its own hourly software charge.
The software rate meters running time only. When you stop an instance, the hourly software charge stops accruing. You may still pay separate AWS storage fees for the stopped instance's disk, but that is an infrastructure cost, not the software licence charge.
Both charges bill by the hour and add together on the same invoice. The software rate stays tied to the product, while the EC2 rate depends on the instance type you choose. Choosing a larger instance raises the infrastructure portion; the two are billed independently but appear together.

Annual Subscriptions: Refunds are allowed if you are canceling a subscription to purchase a new subscription from Websoft9 at the same or higher rate. Hourly Subscriptions: We do not currently support refunds, but you can cancel at any time.

Usage instructions
Once the instance is running, enter the http://Public DNS:9000 provided by AWS into your browser. You will then see the Websoft9 Console.
And refer to the following steps to get started:
- Use SSH to connect your AWS EC2 by user ubuntu
- Run command 'sudo usermod -aG docker ubuntu && sudo passwd ubuntu' to set password and permisson for this user
- Use your EC2 username 'ubuntu' and password to log in Websoft9 Console.
- Go to the "App Store" in the Websoft9 Console and install Tomcat with a one-click.
- Once installation is complete, go to "My Apps" to get the port, access url and credentials of Tomcat.
