API Relay secures HTTP and HTTPS application and agentic data in motion at the application layer in a FIPS 140-3 validated, quantum-resistant solution with polymorphic encryption and ephemeral keys; protecting against interception, manipulation and exfiltration.
API Relay is natively containerized and built for data protection in motion across APIs, AI systems, microservices, and machine-to-machine communications.
API Relay protects sensitive payloads in transit so intercepted API and AI data remains unusable, even if network sessions or trusted systems are compromised.
Protect the Data, Not Just the Connection
Network security protects the connection. API Relay embeds data protection within the data itself.
TLS secures the connection, but once a session is compromised payloads are exposed to replay attacks, token theft, payload manipulation, and data leakage.
API Relay reduces these risks by independently protecting every payload with polymorphic encryption and ephemeral single-use keys.
No shared secrets
No key distribution
No reusable sessions
No exposed credentials
No certificate lifecycle management
Built for Modern Cloud and AI Environments
Built on quantum-resistant ML-KEM and validated under FIPS 140-3 (Certificate #4690), API Relay helps organizations secure:
APIs
AI and agentic systems
Machine-to-machine communications
Microservices architectures
Cloud-native environments
API Relay helps reduce operational complexity without PKI sprawl, complex key management, or backend application rewrites.
Deployment Options
Deploy on AWS ECS or AWS EKS
Lightweight containerized deployment
Designed for cloud-native environments
Fits into existing CI and CD workflows
No infrastructure disruption required
No backend application code changes required in typical deployments
Highlights
Sessionless and Keyless Architecture: Eliminates persistent keys, reusable sessions, shared secrets, and certificate management operational complexity.
Built for AI and Modern APIs: FIPS 140-3 validated, quantum-resistant protection for APIs, microservices, AI systems, and machine-to-machine communications.
Protects API Payloads Beyond TLS: API and AI data remains protected even after network sessions are compromised.
AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Try this product free for 30 days according to the free trial terms set by the vendor. Usage-based pricing is in effect for usage beyond the free trial terms. Your free trial gets automatically converted to a paid subscription when the trial ends, but may be canceled any time before that.
You pay by container hours, so billing tracks how long the relay runs. This is usage-based pricing with a single dimension: the total hours your relay container operates. The longer you run the relay in front of your APIs, the more hours accrue. There are no separate tiers, seat counts, or feature levels to choose from. Costs scale directly with runtime, giving you a predictable, time-based measure tied to actual deployment. You add or remove capacity by running the container for as many hours as your workload requires.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What counts as one container hour for billing?
One container hour is one hour that the API Relay container runs. Billing tracks elapsed runtime, not requests or data volume. If you run two containers for the same hour, each accrues its own hour. Partial hours are metered based on how long the container stays active.
Am I charged when the relay container is stopped or idle?
Charges track running time only. When the container is fully stopped, container hours stop accruing. An idle but still-running container continues to count hours because the software is active. To pause costs, stop the container. Underlying AWS resource fees may still apply separately.
What does the relay protect once it is running and billing?
The relay deploys in front of existing APIs and protects HTTP payloads end to end. It requires no backend application or API code changes. Each payload is protected independently, without reliance on network trust or long-lived credentials. You pay for the hours the protecting container runs.

Containers are lightweight, portable execution environments that wrap server application software in a filesystem that includes everything it needs to run. Container applications run on supported container runtimes and orchestration services, such as Amazon Elastic Container Service (Amazon ECS) or Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (Amazon EKS). Both eliminate the need for you to install and operate your own container orchestration software by managing and scheduling containers on a scalable cluster of virtual machines.
